With deep conviction and a strong sense of responsibility, Doctor Zohra Fellah and Doctor Christophe Zirak are proud to announce the creation of the AMA ZF — AMA ZF — the first aesthetic medicine academy in Belgium founded by physicians, for physicians.
A plastic surgeon and functional medicine specialist on one hand, an expert in aesthetic medicine on the other, the two co-founders share a common understanding of their discipline: aesthetic medicine is a fully-fledged medical act that engages the health, physical integrity and self-confidence of often young patients. As such, it deserves rigorous, structured training delivered by high-level practitioners.
Confronted daily with the consequences of poor practice — avoidable complications, inadequately mastered techniques, disfiguring results affecting predominantly the faces of young female patients — Doctors Fellah and Zirak chose to act. For while regulation has yet to rise to the challenges at hand, training can do so today.
AMA ZF is their answer: a certified curriculum of eight intensive days, combining cutting-edge theory with hands-on workshops on models, to train competent, informed and responsible physicians. Solid training is the first line of defence against abuse and complications. It is also, for any patient seeking treatment, an invaluable benchmark: choosing a practitioner who holds a recognised certificate in aesthetic medicine means choosing safety and excellence.
